The period between the First and Second World Wars (1918-1938).
The First World War has shown importance of military aircraft. Have been undertaken a series of attempts to generalize experience of its application in the last war. In 1921 Italian general Dzhulio Due (Douhet) (1869-1930) in the book “ Domination in air” has stated harmonious enough and worked concept of the leading part of aircraft in the future wars. Domination in air Due assumed to achieve not wide use fighter aircraft as it is recognized today, and the massed impacts of bombers which should neutralize airfields of the opponent, and then paralyze activity of its military-industrial centers and suppress will of the population to resistance and continuation of war. This theory had the big influence on minds of military strategists of many countries.
Between world wars the military aircraft has made a huge technical jump. The most advanced countries have armed by a new planes having high-power gun and bombing arms. Concepts of their fighting application were developed and fulfilled in practice during local military conflicts.
The World War 2 (1939-1945).
The World War 2 became the most terrible tragedy not only of 20th centuries, but in all human history. Millions people went to the fields of battles to remain there for ever. The economy of all countries has been transferred on military rails, the best scientists and engineers created new rifles, tanks, planes. Day September, 1st, 1939 has begun with a bomb dropped by German bomber He-111 on the Polish air field. August, 6th, 1945 strategic bomber B-29 of the USA Air Forces has finished six-years war which has carried away 65 million lives. For these 6 years the military aircraft has made immeasurable jump from the wooden propeller to the jet engine, from slowly I-15 up to jet Me-262, from 50-kg of bombs up to nuclear. Bombers have erased from the face of the ground Dresden and Stalingrad, "Arizona" and " Yamato" have been sunk by torpedo bombers, hundreds tanks burned across all Europe, destroyed by Il-2 and Ju-87.
